About the Job
FPT University Da Nang is seeking a passionate and driven Intern Developer to join our Back-End Engineering team. This full-time internship offers an exceptional opportunity for aspiring software engineers with 0 years of experience to gain hands-on experience in building robust and scalable back-end services. You will work alongside experienced developers, contribute to real-world projects, and develop foundational skills in a dynamic academic and technological environment. This role is designed to foster learning, mentorship, and professional growth within the FPT ecosystem in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of back-end services and APIs using various programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews, learn best practices, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Help debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing applications.
- Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to back-end development.
- Contribute to technical documentation and maintain clear records of development progress.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational understanding of core programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Node.js).
- Basic understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL) and database design principles.
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship schedule.
Preferred Requirement
- Familiarity with back-end frameworks such as Spring Boot (Java), Django/Flask (Python), Express.js (Node.js), or ASP.NET Core (C#).
- Basic knowledge of RESTful API design principles and development.
- Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
- Personal projects or contributions to open-source initiatives.
